Senior Backend Software Engineer
Build scalable Node.js backend services and APIs for web and mobile live-shopping experiences, while owning architecture, DevOps, and system reliability. The role requires a Computer Science degree, English and Mandarin proficiency, and at least five years of infrastructure experience.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs powering web and mobile applications using Node.js.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to build scalable products and services.
- Own a component, feature, or system with expert end-to-end understanding.
- Complete large-scope projects while maintaining a consistently high level of productivity.
- Own DevOps responsibilities, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure management, deployment automation, and system reliability.
- Leverage AI coding tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code to accelerate development and improve code quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin.
- 5+ years of experience building highly scalable and reliable infrastructure.
- Hands-on DevOps experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, containerization, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and GCP or AWS.
- Experience building high-concurrency systems preferred.
- Payment system experience preferred.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Codex, and Claude Code preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience creating web interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to integrate with backend services.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: 600k–1M RMB per year.
- Five social insurances and one housing fund (五险一金) included.
- Equity grants included as part of the total compensation package.
