Responsibilities
Set Gumloop’s marketing strategy, translate company priorities into a focused roadmap, and define how success will be measured.
Clarify who Gumloop is for and why it matters by owning our ideal customer profile, category, positioning, narrative, and brand.
Lead planning for major product launches, with clear messaging for individual users and enterprise buyers.
Bring product marketing, brand, content, growth, and demand generation together around shared priorities, clear ownership, and consistent execution.
Partner with Product, Sales, Growth, and Customer Success to turn customer feedback, market insight, and performance data into better marketing decisions.
Set the operating cadence for the function and decide where to invest budget and resources.
Build and develop the marketing team, and personally lead the work where your judgment can have the greatest impact.
Requirements
Experience leading marketing at a high-growth B2B software company, with clear evidence that your work contributed to company growth.
A track record of building, managing, and developing a multidisciplinary marketing team.
Strong judgment in customer segmentation, category, positioning, messaging, and product launches.
The ability to understand an innovative product and turn it into a clear, differentiated story.
Broad marketing range across product marketing, brand, content, growth, and demand generation, with the ability to connect them into one strategy.
Experience supporting enterprise sales motions.
Sound operating judgment, including the ability to prioritize, allocate resources, and make decisions with incomplete information alongside founders and cross-functional leaders.
Strong writing and creative judgment, with an instinct for marketing that feels authentic to the company and useful to its audience.
Nice-to-Haves
Experience marketing AI, automation, developer tools, or another technical product.
Experience building or reshaping a marketing function during a period of rapid growth.
