Senior engineer on the Core Infrastructure team responsible for scaling data layers, observability, and developer tooling to support rapid multi-product growth at Nooks. Requires 5+ years experience scaling systems 10x+, strong distributed systems or infra background, and willingness to be in-office in San Francisco 3+ days/week.

Responsibilities
- Build infrastructure that makes every product team faster: data models, APIs, observability, CI/CD
- Own systems across the company as Nooks expands from one product to many (Sequencing, Dialer, Agent Studio, Coaching)
- Maintain capacity, reliability, and cost standards while scaling
- Make foundational technical decisions on data access layers and infrastructure cost attribution
- Mentor team members, run code and design reviews, and pair on hard problems
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience with depth in distributed systems, databases, or developer infrastructure
- Production experience scaling systems through 10x or 100x growth
- Strong opinions on good developer experience in fast-moving product teams
- Comfortable being on-call during incidents and making the rest of the team faster
- Based in San Francisco with ability to be in-office 3+ days per week
