Builds the data foundation for a client retention and personalization team, including ELT pipelines, predictive data models, marketing integrations, and measurement layers. Requires modern data-stack experience, strong SQL and programming skills, and regular use of AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines and models capturing client home profiles, job history, and seasonal or event-driven signals such as weather, life events, and moves.
- Prepare data models for predictions about which service a client will need and when, partnering with Machine Learning and Solutions Architecture teams.
- Build pipelines connecting personalization signals to CRM and marketing channels, including email, SMS, push, and onsite experiences.
- Develop dbt models and semantic layers to support and measure in-market tests.
- Use AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code to scaffold pipelines, write tests, and accelerate code review.
- Contribute to technical documentation and the roadmap for scaling the data foundation.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Marketing, BizOps, and Machine Learning partners in a discovery-stage team.
Requirements
- Experience building and maintaining ELT data pipelines with modern tools such as dbt, Airflow, and Fivetran.
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Solid data modeling skills, including dimensional modeling and star or snowflake schemas.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Regular day-to-day use of AI coding assistants, with the ability to prompt, review, and validate generated code.
- Comfort working with ambiguity and rapidly testing new ideas.
- Familiarity with BI or semantic-layer tools such as Looker, Mode, or Tableau.
Nice to Have
- Experience with streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis and real-time data processing.

- Base pay range: $130,000–$170,000 USD annually.
