Staff/Principal Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design for high-impact product areas from concept through execution.
• Define new interaction patterns and design paradigms for Fin, automation, and AI-powered tools.
• Sketch, prototype, and test ideas at different fidelities to validate decisions.
• Partner closely with engineers and product managers to define problems, move quickly, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Maintain high standards of craft while balancing speed and execution.
• Contribute to design culture by mentoring others, raising quality standards, refining processes, and sharing knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience shipping complex, high-quality software products.
• Ability to design across desktop, mobile, chat interfaces, AI-first products, and emerging experiences.
• Ability to balance speed and detail, knowing when to move quickly and when to focus on fine execution.
• End-to-end product thinking, from systems-level decisions to interaction details.
• Understanding of engineering and ability to build prototypes using tools such as Framer, Lovable, Windsurf, Vercel, Figma, and code.
• Strong visual taste and a high bar for product quality.
• Ability to communicate design decisions with clarity and conviction.
• Agency, ownership, autonomy, and comfort with ambiguity.
• This is an individual-contributor, craft-focused role rather than a strategy-only or people-management position.
