Responsibilities
Own operational execution across the event portfolio (major conferences, developer roadshows, digital events, community activations): manage timelines, project plans, execution milestones; keep events on schedule, on budget, and aligned to goals.
Maintain a master event calendar coordinating timing, resourcing, and dependencies.
Manage event registration, attendee experience, lead capture, and badging.
Own the event technology stack (registration, mobile apps, lead retrieval); ensure clean data flows into marketing and sales systems.
Manage vendors and logistics (agencies, venues, production vendors, internal teams): contracts, budget tracking, shipping, production schedules, onsite readiness.
Own end-to-end event budgets: purchase orders, invoicing, post-event reconciliation.
Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product Marketing, Developer Relations, Field Marketing, and Sales to translate goals into operational plans.
Operationalize developer-focused programs and build frameworks for expansion to additional markets.
Track event KPIs, pipeline/ROI; run post-event debriefs, reconciliation, and sales handoff.
Provide operational and logistics support to Field Marketing for regional events, roadshows, and third-party events (sponsorship deliverables, booth logistics, lead retrieval).
Qualifications
5+ years in event management, event operations, or experiential program management.
Strong project management skills with experience coordinating complex programs across multiple stakeholders and concurrent events.
Ability to travel 35% of the time across North America (potential international travel).
Hands-on experience with vendor, agency, and production-partner management (contracts, budgets, performance).
Comfortable using AI to scale repeatable processes.
Familiarity with event and marketing tech (registration platforms, lead retrieval, mobile apps) and data flows into Salesforce and Marketo.
Experience building operational frameworks or playbooks that enable program scaling.
Developer, technical, or enterprise event experience highly preferred.
Background in SaaS, developer platforms, cloud, or technology companies is an advantage.
Comfort working in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities.
Domain experts in the built world (data centers, real estate, infrastructure) partner with agentic AI to accelerate pre-development workflows like site selection, due diligence, feasibility, planning and design for major projects. Identify and propose AI-automated workflows from your industry experience.
