Responsibilities
- Understand and improve the MongoDB networking and observability codebase.
- Lead medium-sized projects related to networking code or observability frameworks from technical design through delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues throughout ideation, requirements gathering, design, execution, and delivery.
- Contribute to code reviews and feature design.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building distributed systems.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design and architecture.
- Hands-on experience building production-level code.
- Required experience with C++.
- Interest in networking, observability, computer architecture, and system internals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-team stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits
- U.S. base salary range: $106,000–$209,000 USD.
