Senior Fullstack Engineer - Operational Automations

Builds and operates full-stack automations and UIs that replace manual brokerage operations workflows with durable, auditable systems. Requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong Golang expertise, and end-to-end TypeScript/React development experience.

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor production automations and UIs that remove manual steps and reduce operations time.
  • Partner with frontend engineers to productize operations tooling for predictable staffing across global teams.
  • Execute operational procedures to identify manual processes suitable for automation.
  • Instrument and report baseline and outcome metrics, including MTTC, manual steps removed, queue sizes, and operations satisfaction.
  • Produce Platform Opportunity Briefs and RFCs for platform tooling and automations.
  • Collaborate with licensed business development leadership, Compliance, and Security to build auditable, safe automations with role-based access and clear runbooks.
  • Own the full lifecycle of systems, including automated deployment, proactive monitoring, on-call support, and incident response.
  • Build systems with auditability, traceability, and data lineage as first-class concerns.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping and operating complex, large-scale production systems.
  • Strong business sense and understanding of operations.
  • Deep hands-on expertise in Golang, including concurrency models, memory management, and the standard library.
  • Experience building user-facing features end-to-end with TypeScript and React.
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to reason about human workflows as systems.
  • Experience with observability, tracing, and continuous profiling.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
  • High ownership mindset and a bias toward durable structural fixes.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of service-oriented architectures.
  • Experience with major cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud.
  • Financial markets knowledge, including exchanges, broker-dealers, or clearing.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience designing and building distributed systems, microservices, and API patterns such as REST and gRPC.
  • Experience with capacity planning and benchmarking.
