Senior Software Engineer, Core Product

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact, complex initiatives from problem framing and scoping through implementation, launch, and iteration.
• Own technical execution across client-side surfaces, including Web, Desktop via Electron, and Mobile, as well as backend services, APIs, and data systems.
• Drive technical direction across the stack, including architecture, state management, API design, and performance strategy for high-traffic, distributed workflows.
• Champion user experience, accessibility, interaction details, and product quality through feedback and metrics.
• Partner closely with Product and Design to define requirements, identify risks, surface open questions, propose alternatives, and align on tradeoffs.
• Improve testing, observability, engineering standards, tooling, and code health.
• Mentor teammates, provide constructive code review, share best practices, and strengthen a collaborative engineering culture.

Requirements

• Strong full-stack experience across systems, stacks, and distributed systems.
• Track record of leading projects and delivering complex work on time.
• Experience collaborating closely with Product and Design through scope definition and delivery.
• Ability to give and receive feedback constructively.
• Agile, scrappy mindset with the ability to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.
