Senior Software Engineer New Markets
Build and operate scalable brokerage systems spanning backend services, internal React applications, and financial integrations. The role requires senior-level architecture experience, Go or similar backend expertise, event-driven design, incident leadership, and strong collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities
- Design highly scalable, mission-critical brokerage systems.
- Develop and enhance middle- and back-office systems, including gRPC microservices, a React-based UI for internal administration and API developers, and third-party vendor integrations.
- Work with core teams to enhance and transform the framework to support multiple languages, currencies, and markets.
- Collaborate with technical leads in other regions through synchronous and asynchronous communication.
- Troubleshoot incidents and bugs to maintain system integrity and performance.
- Navigate regulatory requirements and build scalable solutions supporting international growth.
- Act as an operational reliability and engineering lead and incident commander during regional business hours.
- Support regional recruitment initiatives, cross-functional projects, talent mentoring, and engineering culture.
- Participate in on-call support as needed.
Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in Go or similar backend languages.
- Experience designing robust, efficient system architectures.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with global teams, regulators, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to lead and troubleshoot incidents and bugs as an incident commander.
- Strong computer science fundamentals and software engineering architecture experience.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, globally distributed team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinking and ability to translate technical concepts into business strategies.
- Experience with event-driven design.

- Experience with online trading systems, including order management, execution, market data processing, and real-time trade processing.
- Experience building scalable, high-availability financial applications handling multi-currency transactions.
- Experience with financial APIs, market data integrations, and trade settlement processes.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements in financial markets.
