Responsibilities

  • Own the GTM strategy, operating rhythm, and growth plan for Germany, with accountability for regional revenue across sales-assisted and self-serve channels.
  • Lead as a second-line manager by hiring, coaching, and developing frontline leaders and IC teams across Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, and supporting GTM functions.
  • Scale a country-first GTM motion through local executive engagement, market-specific execution, customer advocacy, partner programs, and ecosystem development.
  • Grow new business, expansion, upgrades, and self-serve-to-sales-assisted opportunities.
  • Develop lighthouse customers and use their success to build market momentum.
  • Embed AI-native GTM practices, including agent-enabled customer journeys, agent workflow activation, AI demonstrations, and customer co-building.
  • Help customers identify valuable workflows, build and deploy Notion Agents, automate cross-functional work, and measure AI adoption outcomes.
  • Partner with Solutions Consultants, Outcomes Architects, Forward Deployed Architects/Engineers, Professional Services, Channel, Marketing, RevOps, and Product.
  • Drive partner-sourced pipeline, co-selling, enablement, AI solution packages, and joint account planning.
  • Represent German customer needs to Product, PMM, Marketing, and EMEA leadership.
  • Build and develop a high-performing Germany-based GTM organization.
  • Drive forecasting, pipeline quality, territory planning, inspection cadence, performance management, and cross-functional execution.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional experience.
  • 5+ years leading SaaS or AI sales and GTM teams in Germany.
  • Proven second-line leadership experience managing frontline managers and high-performing IC teams.
  • Track record owning revenue targets across new business, expansion, and renewal or churn dynamics.
  • Deep knowledge of the German enterprise and startup ecosystem, executive buyer networks, partner channels, and local buying dynamics.
  • Experience building or scaling a regional or country business in a high-growth or ambiguous environment.
  • Experience selling, implementing, or leading GTM teams around AI, automation, agentic workflows, collaboration, productivity, developer, or data products.
  • Strong strategic judgment, market segmentation, account prioritization, and cross-functional alignment skills.
  • Operational rigor across forecasting, pipeline generation, inspection, performance management, territory planning, and sales process.
  • Executive presence with CIO, CTO, CPO, COO, and business transformation buyers.
  • Understanding of GTM functions including Business Development, Solutions Consulting, Outcomes Architecture, Forward Deployed Architecture/Engineering, Professional Services, Channel, Marketing, RevOps, and Product.
  • Builder mentality and strong AI curiosity, including the ability to learn, demonstrate, and coach teams on agent-first workflows and proof-of-value motions.
  • Fluency in German and English.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience launching or scaling a country-first or regional GTM operating model.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, APIs, webhooks, connectors, data residency, AI governance, and technical evaluation processes.
  • Experience scaling partner, channel, marketplace, or consultant-led GTM motions around AI or workflow transformation.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Estimated on-target earnings, including base salary and target incentive pay: €357,000–€420,000 per year.
  • Competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits.
  • In-office anchor days are Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with regular customer, partner, and regional travel as needed.
