Responsibilities

  • Embedded development, programming and working with embedded developers
  • Defining and designing communications systems such as CAN (J1939, CANOpen), SPI, I2C, USB, and RS-232
  • Working with others to develop and design the overall electrical architecture
  • Working with others to integrate electronics into vehicles
  • Design of safety critical system elements
  • Verification and Validation of electrical systems
  • Work with suppliers and drive the implementation of development into production
  • PCB layout, schematic design

Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Passionate about self-driving vehicles
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with electrical drawings and parts management
  • Experience with prototyping of boards

Preferred

  • 10+ years of work experience
  • Experience with actuators and sensors of varying types
  • Experience with safety critical design work
  • Robotics/autonomous experience is a plus
  • Experience with Verification and Validation processes
