Software Engineer, Pricing - Rider Engagement

- Independently lead features from ideation through execution and launch.
- Support and communicate with internal partners to achieve results.
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, and maintainable code.
- Build robust, scalable solutions using Python, Golang, and AWS.
- Participate in code reviews and on-call rotations.
- Share knowledge through brown bags, tech talks, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- BS/MS or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or relevant work experience.
- 3+ years of software engineering industry experience.
- Extensive object-oriented programming experience, ideally with Go or Python.
- Backend software development experience with distributed systems and concurrency.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience building real-time serving systems for ML or optimization models.
- Experience with online/offline experimentation frameworks.
Compensation and Benefits
- Expected base pay range: CAD $108,000–$135,000 in the Toronto area, excluding potential equity, bonus, and benefits.
