About the role

Responsibilities

  • Set up and execute test campaigns for custom circuits and sub-systems such as verifying logic levels, voltage rails, and basic circuit functions.
  • Perform benchtop PCBA testing and debugging.
  • Support engineers through environmental qualification that includes temperature, vibration, altitude, humidity, etc.
  • Design, verify, and deploy simple PCBAs, fixtures, and harnesses.
  • Assist with the avionics lab design and buildout.

Requirements

  • 2+ years working around high voltage, high power systems (such as 270V and higher).
  • Experience performing benchtop testing with basic EE equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, electronic load, thermal chamber, etc.).
  • Experience performing PCBA and harness rework.
  • Proficiency reading and interpreting schematics.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects (from internship, job, club, team, personal project, etc.).
  • Demonstrated history of showing ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results.
  • Record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
