Responsibilities
- Lead world-class design through craft leadership.
- Create and lead long-term collaborations with client partners.
- Design new ways for IDEO to deliver value and inspire the Chinese market.
- Partner with Enterprise leaders to develop business opportunities.
- Develop and execute a business development strategy centered on product opportunities in the market.
- Ensure IDEO’s design capabilities meet and exceed client needs and expectations.
- Support portfolio strategy, including network building, client engagement strategy, portfolio messaging, and offer development.
- Support project work by bringing in the client perspective and contributing to project content development.
- Develop and engage a proactive network among target audiences.
- Mentor designers and support the leadership team in delivering IDEO Shanghai’s business strategy.
Requirements
- Native-level Chinese and strong English verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in a creative consulting or agency environment.
- Excellent internal and external written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, creative problem-solving approach in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Experience collaborating with multiple internal and external organizations.
- Proven leadership experience in creative organizations, in or outside the design industry.
