Responsibilities
- Build and analyze financial models and pricing scenarios for standard and non-standard agreements, evaluating pricing, discounts, term length, usage commitments, and gross margin impact.
- Partner with Sales to structure commercially sound deals aligned with financial guardrails.
- Educate Sales and go-to-market teams on contracting policies, approval matrices, and discount governance.
- Own the end-to-end Deal Desk workflow in Salesforce and CPQ, including quote building, pricing approvals, Order Form creation, DocuSign execution, and opportunity closure.
- Maintain data integrity and policy compliance.
- Build relationships across Commercial Legal, Billing Operations, Corporate Finance, and Sales to streamline deal execution.
- Collaborate with Sales and Legal on non-standard contract language in Order Forms, aligned with corporate risk and revenue recognition policies.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and modeling for business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to scale Deal Desk operations, improve systems, and optimize workflows.
Requirements
- Business proficiency or fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree plus at least 3 years of experience in Corporate Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Deal Desk, or an analytical go-to-market role. Without a degree, at least 5 years of relevant analytical experience is required.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, including knowledge of core financial concepts and the ability to explain financial tradeoffs.
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including financial modeling, logic formulas, and scenario analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-velocity requests under tight deadlines.
- Self-directed, proactive, organized, and able to operate with high integrity.
