Strategic Projects Lead

Leads complex healthcare interoperability projects, partnerships, and cross-functional execution while navigating legal, technical, compliance, and state-level requirements. Requires at least three years of project or consulting experience, partnership development, and healthcare interoperability experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of internal and external healthcare projects, accounting for national and state requirements.
  • Prioritize work and align resources with the company’s most important needs.
  • Build consensus among leadership and stakeholders by understanding incentives and operating constraints.
  • Anticipate future blockers and address them before they become problematic.
  • Solve complex, constrained problems using sound judgment, risk assessment, and data-informed narratives.
  • Apply technical and non-technical product knowledge to define requirements and considerations for strategic projects.
  • Identify internal needs that can be addressed through external partnerships and execute partnership-related initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management, business operations, or MBB consulting experience.
  • 3+ years of experience building partnerships with external parties from scratch.
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare interoperability.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to keep internal and external stakeholders on schedule.
  • Familiarity with regulated industries and projects with significant governance requirements.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous situations, establish alignment, and execute efficiently.
  • Sufficient familiarity with finance, data, compliance, and engineering to ask informed questions and involve the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate to work from the South Beach office.
  • Low-ego, high-ownership mindset with an entrepreneurial approach.

Compensation and Benefits

  • $140,000–$160,000 annual salary, plus competitive equity.
