Responsibilities
Develop, build, and maintain operations infrastructure for efficient, scalable, high-quality data-labeling pipelines.
Own day-to-day progress on high-priority data-production pipelines.
Partner with Machine Learning and Go-to-Market teams to scope customer engagements through taxonomy design and technical feasibility validation.
Influence cross-organizational collaboration on human-data strategy, data quality, scalability, and platform leverage.
Manage project-level COGS through workforce planning, tooling decisions, and process optimization.
Partner with subject-matter experts to validate data quality and translate domain knowledge into scalable processes and measurable outcomes.
Work with customers to understand requirements and design data taxonomies that optimize model performance.
Use analytics and data-visualization tools to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and optimize pipeline performance.
Assume ownership of increasingly large components of data-delivery processes and high-impact customer pipelines.
Requirements
Active Top Secret security clearance.
2–3 years of experience in product development, data science, or operations.
Successful project-management experience and comfort with ambiguity.
Ability to analyze complex operational data, build queries, identify trends, and optimize processes.
Technical aptitude with post-training techniques such as supervised fine-tuning (SFT), reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), and reinforcement learning with verifiable rewards (RLVR).
Nice to Have
Experience in defense technology and/or an AI company.
Technical degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.
Deep understanding of machine-learning operations for generative-AI workflows and products.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary range: $139,200–$174,000 USD for Washington, DC.
Compensation may include base salary, equity, and benefits.
