About the role

What you’ll do

  • Full Stack Development: Architect secure infrastructure (Kubernetes, Docker) and backend services (Go, Python, PostgresDB), while building frontend interfaces (React, TS) to support features.
  • Developer Experience: Create internal platforms and dashboards that improve developer velocity, reliability, and observability across the organization.
  • Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, contribute to the entire infrastructure codebase, and identify root causes for critical system issues.

About you

Education: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong CS fundamentals.

Backend Expertise: Proficiency in Go and Python, building scalable backend services and APIs.

Frontend Expertise: Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and JavaScript for complex, data-rich web applications.

Infrastructure & Orchestration: Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong experience with relational databases, specifically PostgresDB.

Product Thinking & UI Design: Comfortable functioning as your own PM and Designer, writing technical specs (PRDs).

Communication: Excellent communication skills to represent technical and product decisions.

Good to have

  • Experience with React Native for mobile or cross-platform applications.
  • Prior experience in a startup environment with multi-functional responsibilities (Dev, PM, and Design).

Compensation

Base salary range: $190,000 to $205,000 + bonus, equity, and US benefits.
