About the role
What You Will Own
Identify and source new business development opportunities within the Medical vertical.
Build and manage a pipeline of potential partners, including medical software platforms, EHR/EMR partners, marketplace partners, referral partners, reseller partners, and other strategic relationships.
Develop recommendations for revenue-generating opportunities by aligning internal teams around market needs, partner fit, and strategic value.
Grow Weave’s Medical partner ecosystem and support marketplace initiatives specific to the vertical.
Explore opportunities to expand Weave’s TAM within Medical and adjacent specialty areas.
Measure partner performance and identify opportunities to deepen or expand existing Medical partnerships.
Coordinate communication between internal and external stakeholders to drive partnership outcomes.
Help inform build vs. partner decisions for workflows and integrations that matter most to medical practices.
Identify partnerships that unlock key workflows for Medical customers and strengthen the value proposition of both Weave and its partners.
Develop and maintain relationships with executives across the Medical partner landscape and potential strategic customers.
Lead cross-functional partnership initiatives, including scope, timelines, dependencies, milestones, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategic sales, product partnerships, or a similar role.
Experience working in or supporting the Medical vertical, ideally with medical practices, EHR/EMR platforms, healthcare SaaS, or practice management software.
SaaS experience preferred.
Proven ability to develop partner relationships, evaluate business opportunities, and execute partnership plans.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build business cases and make clear recommendations based on market opportunity, partner fit, and revenue potential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
