Customer Success Manager, Beneficial Deployments - Life Sciences
Manage strategic life sciences accounts and scalable customer programs that drive adoption, optimization, and safe deployment of Anthropic’s AI products. Responsibilities
- Build strategic relationships with research leaders, principal investigators, program directors, and IT teams across life sciences organizations.
- Guide adoption, usage optimization, expanded use cases, and change management for Anthropic products, including the API, Claude for Enterprise, Claude Code, and Claude for Life Sciences.
- Develop Train the Trainer programs, Centers of Excellence, playbooks, templates, and customer health metrics.
- Design and run webinars, hackathons, build days, cohort-based onboarding, office hours, and researcher communities.
- Guide partners through SSO, provisioning, workspace configuration, and data-handling considerations involving HIPAA, IRB, and institutional policies.
- Quantify research productivity, time-to-insight, program effectiveness, cost savings, and mission impact; collaborate with Marketing on success stories and reference accounts.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or Solutions Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in life sciences research and experience working with research institutions, biotech, pharma, foundations, or nonprofit research organizations.
- Understanding of scientific research practices, funding, governance, industry regulations, risk, and compliance.
- Experience supporting both consumption-based and seat-based business models.
- Experience managing strategic accounts while delivering one-to-many customer programs.
- Data-driven, AI-first approach to customer engagement and workflow automation.
- Technical fluency in AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns.
- Ability to explain and demonstrate technical products to scientists, computational researchers, and institutional leaders.
- Strategic, collaborative, and hands-on approach to identifying expansion opportunities and driving scientific impact.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

- Familiarity with scientific data types, research workflows, or bioinformatics tooling.
Compensation
- Annual compensation range: $200,000–$265,000 USD. For sales roles, this range represents on-target earnings, including base salary and target commissions or bonuses.
