- Own the evolution and scaling of backend infrastructure.
- Design and implement performant APIs and services.
- Build infrastructure to support AI capabilities.
- Optimize database performance and query efficiency.
- Improve reliability and observability through enhanced monitoring and alerting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure infrastructure supports continuous product innovation.
Requirements
- Engineering experience in technology and product-driven environments.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
- Deep knowledge of relational databases.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures.
- Understanding of security best practices and performance optimization.
- Willingness to work in person from the London office most of the time.
- Startup experience or strong interest in zero-to-one environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.
Nice-to-haves
- Interest or experience in infrastructure for AI/ML.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: £100,000–£130,000.
- Above-market equity.
- Relocation assistance for candidates moving to London.
