Responsibilities
- Own an end-to-end project: scope it with a manager, build it, ship it, and see it in customers' hands.
- Write and review production code alongside maintaining engineers.
- Debug real systems, trace issues through the stack, and fix root causes.
- Communicate progress clearly, including when blocked.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, graduating in December 2027 or May 2028.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Ability to investigate problems deeply and understand root causes.
- Ability to work independently and surface blockers early.
- Strong written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration.
- Fluency with AI tooling and ability to explain, defend, and debug shipped work.
- Based in San Francisco and able to commute Monday, Tuesday, and Friday.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Go or Rust.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range: $110,000–$132,000 annually for San Francisco.
