Back-End Infrastructure Engineer
The Back-End Infrastructure Engineer will build and operate Pigment’s production SaaS platform while improving cloud infrastructure and developer autonomy. The role requires production software engineering experience, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, public cloud, and object-oriented programming expertise.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Pigment’s production SaaS platform across the application development lifecycle.
- Translate functional requirements into elegant, simple designs and deliver production-ready code.
- Design object-oriented software and contribute to infrastructure that helps engineering teams work effectively and autonomously.
- Understand product and customer needs and suggest innovative solutions.
- Keep the production platform running reliably.
Requirements
- Experience as a software engineer working on a product in production.
- Demonstrated experience with infrastructure, including Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code tooling, and public cloud.
- Experience designing object-oriented software with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
- Strong problem-solving skills and team spirit.
