Senior Manager, Finance - Corporate

Own company-wide headcount and OpEx planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while partnering with People, Recruiting, and business leaders. The role requires 6+ years of finance experience, strong financial modeling, and advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.

About the job

Responsibilities

  • Own company-wide headcount planning and forecasting, including open requisitions, hiring pace, and attrition.
  • Lead annual budgeting and in-year operating expense (OpEx) forecasting across departments.
  • Own monthly and quarterly headcount and OpEx actuals reporting, variance analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain rolling forecasts based on approved changes, hiring-plan shifts, and business decisions.
  • Partner with People, Recruiting, HR, Marketing, department leaders, and budget owners on financial planning, benefits ideas, budget trade-offs, and ROI.
  • Improve planning, tracking, and reporting tools and processes to reduce manual reconciliation and increase stakeholder visibility.
  • Prepare headcount and OpEx reporting packages for executive leadership and the board.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of progressive finance experience, including ownership of headcount and/or OpEx planning and reporting.
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience with planning tools such as Anaplan, Adaptive, Workday, or similar.
  • Experience translating hiring plans into financial impact.
  • Track record of owning budgeting and actuals reporting processes end-to-end, including variance analysis and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ownership of data accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain budget and variance drivers to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
