Senior Manager, Infrastructure Asset Accounting
Leads end-to-end accounting for large-scale infrastructure assets, from component procurement through deployment and disposal. The role requires deep ASC 360 and supply-chain cost accounting expertise, experience with complex fixed-asset portfolios, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end accounting for infrastructure assets across their lifecycle, including component cost accumulation, prepayments and deposits, construction-in-progress, fixed-asset deployment, and disposal.
- Maintain transaction flows mapping assets and costs from purchase order through shipment, receipt, warehousing, integration, deployment, and in-service.
- Evaluate non-standard supplier and procurement arrangements and document technical accounting conclusions.
- Apply ASC 360 to capitalization, useful lives, impairment, disposals, and asset retirement obligations.
- Apply cost-accounting concepts including bill-of-materials costing, landed cost, standard versus actual cost, obsolescence, and existence reserves.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Data Center Operations, Legal, and Finance on contract negotiation and execution.
- Explain financial statement impacts to non-finance stakeholders.
- Improve data pipelines and component tracking, including serial-number-level tracking and existence controls.
- Design and scale systems, processes, and controls for component and fixed-asset portfolios.
- Mentor accounting professionals and coordinate with external auditors on supply-chain, capital-expenditure, and fixed-asset matters.
- Drive process improvements and automation, including AI tooling, to improve financial reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent relevant education, training, and experience.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge of ASC 360, especially for infrastructure, data center, or compute-related assets.
- Experience with supply-chain cost accounting, including BOM-based costing, landed cost, standard versus actual cost, and obsolescence or NRV analysis.
- Experience building or maintaining transaction flows, process maps, or subledger designs across systems and lifecycle stages.
- Experience evaluating non-standard supplier or procurement arrangements and documenting supportable conclusions.
- Experience managing significant fixed-asset or component portfolios in high-growth environments.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with large, complex datasets.
- Experience improving scalable financial processes and mentoring accounting professionals.
- Ability to translate technical accounting concepts into practical financial implications.
- Strong communication and cross-functional influence skills.
- Experience partnering with supply chain, engineering, infrastructure, or operations teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including operational experience in technology, hardware, manufacturing, or infrastructure-heavy companies.
- Experience with hyperscalers, semiconductor companies, hardware OEMs or ODMs, contract manufacturers, or data center operators.
- Familiarity with ASC 330, ASC 842, and ASC 460.
- Experience with fixed-asset subledgers and component or inventory management systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.
- SQL proficiency.
- Big Four accounting or advisory experience combined with industry experience.
- Experience with complex data center buildouts or hybrid cloud and on-premises environments.
- Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure and related cost structures.
- Experience applying AI tooling, including Claude, to accounting processes, memo drafting, or close automation.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in rapidly changing environments.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $190,000–$230,000 USD.
