Senior Product Manager, Payments

Responsibilities

• Own the payout experience from contract terms and time capture through disbursement, retries, and support resolution.
• Partner with engineering on the ledger, reconciliation, and payout automation platform.
• Expand global payout rails, methods, and currencies while balancing cost, speed, reliability, and local regulations.
• Use payout cost, failure rates, support volume, and expert retention to prioritize product work.
• Write specifications and PRDs, build dashboards, investigate failed payouts, and make small code changes to unblock delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, compliance, operations, and support.

• Global payouts and disbursement.
• Ledger and reconciliation.
• Contracts, rates, earnings, and expert payment visibility.
• Payments operations tooling.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, including meaningful experience with payouts or disbursements.
• Working knowledge of payout rails, ledgers, double-entry accounting, reconciliation, foreign exchange, KYC, tax, and compliance requirements across markets.
• Strong ownership and accountability for outcomes.
• Ability to self-direct in ambiguous contexts.
• Technical fluency, including building scrappy MVPs, querying data, and reading code.
• Experience conducting user research with experts, operators, and finance partners.
• Ability to balance rigorous experimentation with long-term product vision.

• Prior software engineering, machine learning, or data science experience.
