What you'll do
Strategic Vision and Partnership Building
- Develop and execute full-funnel sales strategies encompassing awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention for top-tier clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships across client and agency stakeholders (C-suite, Investment, Strategy, Activation teams); organize educational summits, strategy sessions, and QBRs.
- Build and execute strategic business plans to drive revenue growth on Pinterest; secure stakeholder buy-in and drive accountability through influence.
- Drive year-over-year growth and spearhead annual deal conversations.
- Demonstrate executive presence by deeply understanding client businesses, including macro trends, business goals, media KPIs, and opportunities; think critically and challenge the status quo.
Product Expertise and Market Influence
- Serve as a product expert on the digital ecosystem and Pinterest's ad offerings (upper and lower funnel formats).
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends; develop tailored media strategies leveraging insights to achieve business goals.
- Drive adoption and scaling of Pinterest’s performance media solutions (search, Shopping, feed-based ads).
Internal and External Collaboration
- Spearhead negotiations and develop joint business plans.
- Analyze partner goals, deliver data-driven insights, and craft compelling narratives to guide media strategies.
- Mobilize cross-functional teams to address complex challenges.
Champion Pinterest’s Value
- Showcase impactful ad metrics and position Pinterest as a key player in advertisers’ media mix.
- Proactively identify and communicate opportunities for incremental growth; expand partnerships.
What we are looking for
- Ad sales and Digital Advertising Expertise: Deep understanding of full-funnel advertising solutions including media and measurement for brand, consideration, and conversion. Nice-to-have specialized knowledge in search, shopping, display, and/or social.
- Strong Consultative and Negotiation Skills: Proven track record developing long-term partnerships and negotiating annual partnership agreements.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to leverage insights, macro trends, and micro performance trends to translate into actionable insights for revenue growth.
- Goal and Result-Oriented Approach: Consistent achievement of revenue goals while balancing short- and long-term objectives.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Thrive in fast-paced environments with high standards of operational excellence, strategic thinking, and collaboration.

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as digital media or SaaS sales, or equivalent experience.
This role is part of Pinterest's FTE Leave Coverage Program (full-time staffing for parental/medical leave coverage). Assignments are typically ~6 months (extendable), with full-time employee status and embedded team/client ownership.
