Technical Program Manager II

Leads technically complex, cross-functional programs across engineering, product, and business teams while automating program lifecycles with AI. The role requires technical depth in areas such as observability, infrastructure, data platforms, or AI/ML, plus strong executive communication and program delivery skills.

Responsibilities

  • Own large, cross-functional programs spanning multiple engineering organizations, product, and business functions.
  • Surface systemic risks, cross-pod dependencies, and organizational friction before escalation.
  • Build and maintain SVP-level visibility through KPIs for high-priority initiatives.
  • Bridge functions using technical credibility, trusted relationships, and product-domain expertise.
  • Identify repeatable program archetypes and engineer their lifecycles end-to-end with AI solutions.
  • Build automation for risk synthesis, dependency tracking, stakeholder mapping, and program templates.
  • Lead deep technical, large cross-functional, product delivery, and operational programs.
  • Drive alignment, make escalation and technical-judgment calls, and own outcomes through completion.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical program management experience at a high-growth technology company.
  • Experience driving large, ambiguous, cross-functional programs to completion with minimal direction.
  • Hands-on technical experience in observability, infrastructure, data platforms, or AI/ML systems, including model-training pipelines, ML infrastructure, and GPU compute.
  • Ability to discuss architecture and system design and challenge technical decisions.
  • Proven ability to earn trust with senior engineering and product leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including communication at VP+ levels.
  • Active use of AI tools in daily work.
  • Experience building a tool, template, or automated workflow used by others.

Nice-to-haves

  • Identified a systemic problem and built an operating system to solve it.
  • Automated a program lifecycle or workflow that previously required manual coordination.
  • Experience with technical architecture in observability, infrastructure, data platforms, or AI/ML environments.
  • Experience managing programs with unit-economics implications such as cloud cost, capacity, or margin.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary: $145,600–$182,000 USD.
