Senior software engineer building scalable market-data services, APIs, and infrastructure for stocks, options, crypto, and foreign exchange products. Requires backend development experience, cloud-native tooling, and strong Linux, orchestration, and systems fundamentals.

Responsibilities
- Design highly scalable, mission-critical market data provider services.
- Build and scale systems and services supporting stocks, options, crypto, and foreign exchange data products.
- Develop and maintain public APIs and documentation for streaming and historical market data endpoints.
- Plan, experiment with, and productionize new services and libraries.
- Maintain software quality and test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot incidents and reported bugs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of backend software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
- DevOps mindset.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong understanding of POSIX-like operating systems, modern infrastructure, and orchestration practices.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Kubernetes certification, such as CKA or CKAD.
- Experience with SQL and IP networking.
- Understanding of financial markets.
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Shell scripting, Linux, and Docker experience.
- Knowledge of microservice architectures and clean code principles.
