Senior Engineer - Business Systems
The Senior Engineer will build, deploy, and support scalable Workato-based integrations across GTM business systems, particularly Quote-to-Cash workflows. The role requires 5+ years of enterprise integration experience, strong API and scripting skills, and expertise in monitoring, security, and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities
- Automate, develop, and support integrations across business systems, platforms, and tools.
- Gather requirements with business units and technical teams, and design scalable integration solutions.
- Operationalize integrations and implement integration best practices.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation.
- Deliver scalable integration solutions for Quote-to-Cash and other GTMTech programs.
- Deploy and operationalize integrations for stability, performance, and compliance.
- Resolve complex integration issues and minimize disruption to business operations.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and collaborate with business and technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of enterprise integration experience.
- 3+ years of integration development using platforms such as Workato, MuleSoft, or Boomi.
- Deep understanding of enterprise integration design patterns, messaging, event-driven architectures, and Workato concepts such as callable recipes, event streams, and task optimization.
- Proficiency with Workato connectors including Salesforce, NetSuite, HRIS, and Google AppSuite.
- Python or Ruby scripting skills.
- Experience implementing Workato at scale, including automation, observability and monitoring, debugging, DevOps processes, compliance, audit, and internal CI/CD processes.
- Hands-on experience implementing secure, scalable REST APIs, Workato MCP, and agentic workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, analysis, and system-design skills, including flow, scalability, performance, and requirements mapping.
