Principal Solutions Architect

Responsibilities

• Advise and implement full-stack solutions using Retool.
• Help partners deliver best-in-class services to customers to scale product impact.
• Develop new service offerings based on customer and market needs.
• Assist with scoping, estimating, and selling professional services engagements.
• Act as a thought partner to customers building complex internal tools.
• Assist with partner enablement and certification.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers.
• Identify and lead internal strategic initiatives to grow the consulting practice.
• Contribute to the community’s knowledge base and expertise.
• Work collaboratively with strong communication skills, teaching complex concepts.
• Identify and proactively manage risk areas, seeing issues through to resolution.
• Manage customer expectations and negotiate solutions to complex problems.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in technical, customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Customer Engineer, or Deployed Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with full-stack development, including SQL, JavaScript, APIs, and Python.
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating enterprise systems.
• Passion for leveraging technology to solve business problems creatively with scalable solutions.
• Exceptional technical communication skills to translate between business and technical teams.
• Ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot, and provide real-time solutions.
• Comfortable with open-ended problem-solving in unstructured environments.

Compensation

• Base pay range: $157500 – $210700 per year.
• Additional compensation in equity and/or commission dependent on position.
