Responsibilities

  • Craft and ship the Medal experience on iOS, including real-time recording and clipping, social feeds, content discovery, and chat.
  • Help shape mobile architecture and influence product direction.
  • Drive projects end to end and take ownership of broad product areas.
  • Run experiments, talk to users, and use the product to inform development.
  • Use analytics, testing, user feedback, and bug/crash reports to guide development.
  • Work with backend teams and REST APIs to deliver product goals.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively in synchronous and asynchronous environments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recent experience shipping iOS applications.
  • Knowledge of Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
  • Experience with Swift Concurrency and Combine.
  • Experience building complex real-time, video/media-heavy, or social applications.
  • Track record of end-to-end project ownership.
  • Strong focus on code and interface quality.
  • Data-driven development experience using analytics, testing, user feedback, and bug/crash reports.
  • Experience using REST APIs and collaborating with backend teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in gaming.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with video on mobile at a consumer-facing company.
  • Experience with AVFoundation.
