Software Engineering Intern
Supports development of secure, scalable data movement and distributed systems across hybrid cloud and ground-station infrastructure. The internship is intended for a current computer science or software engineering student with programming and networking interests.

Responsibilities
- Define secure, scalable interfaces for payload data transfer, emphasizing simplicity and extensibility.
- Support the design and implementation of the data plane across on-premises and cloud environments for low-latency, high-throughput distribution.
- Develop, test, and maintain data movement and processing pipelines handling large data volumes.
- Build observable, fault-tolerant, and reliable systems that meet uptime requirements.
- Gain hands-on experience with networking devices and protocols.
- Collaborate with software, network, and FPGA engineers to optimize hybrid network and software deployments for performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Rust, C++, or Golang.
- Interest in systems programming, networking protocols such as TCP/IP, and distributed systems.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to continuous integration, continuous deployment, Docker, or Terraform.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment.
