About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes
  • Architect and manage GitOps delivery pipelines (e.g., Flux) to streamline deployments across multiple applications, environments, and tech stacks
  • Bridge the gap between infrastructure and software engineering by building internal tooling and automation through code
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand system domains, promote DevOps best practices, and improve developer velocity
  • Drive platform security and governance initiatives, including policy-as-code implementations (e.g., Kyverno) and compliance support
  • Mentor engineering team members through pairing, documentation, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in software or platform engineering with a strong focus on infrastructure and DevOps
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Kubernetes administration and the cloud-native ecosystem
  • Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Extensive experience designing and operating GitOps workflows (e.g., Argo CD, Flux)
  • Strong software engineering skills with the ability to read, write, and debug code across multiple applications

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with C# and Dotnet framework
  • Experience with Azure and AWS Cloud infrastructure
  • Experience working in geographically distributed teams
  • Fintech or Financial services industry experience

Compensation

For residents of Denver, CO the annual salary range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000 + annual bonus. Final offers may vary based on geography, candidate experience and expertise, bonus, and other factors.
