About the role

Responsibilities

  • Become a systems integration expert for autonomous robotics: Develop deep expertise in AI-powered autonomy stack.
  • Learn to configure, deploy, and integrate multi-agent systems across simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and flight platforms.
  • Understand the full system end-to-end—from sensor inputs to autonomous behaviors.
  • Integrate new capabilities into the autonomy stack: Collaborate cross-functionally to bring autonomy algorithms, perception pipelines, middleware, and platform interfaces into the integrated product.
  • Enable platform bring-up and validation: Lead integration of autonomy software onto new robotic hardware platforms.
  • Develop integration tooling & infrastructure: Architect and implement frameworks, deployment scripts, and configuration management tools for SIL, HIL, and flight environments.
  • Support cross-platform compatibility: Ensure autonomy stack operates reliably across platforms, OS, and configurations.
  • Analyze system behavior and root-cause issues: Evaluate logs, telemetry, rosbag data; create analysis tooling.
  • Optimize integration workflows and CI/CD: Streamline pipelines, reduce cycle times.
  • Validate system requirements and interface contracts.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically requires minimum of 7 years experience with bachelor's in CS, Comp Eng, Robotics, or related; or 6 years with master's; or 4 years with PhD.
  • Proficiency in Python or C++.
  • Experience with autonomous systems, server applications, or middleware.
  • Experience designing integration workflows, communicating dependencies, triaging defects.
  • Proficiency with simulation tools and HIL testing.
  • Strong expertise with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building complex systems with software architecture knowledge.
  • Experience with hardware or embedded systems.
  • Expert knowledge of Python.
  • Experience with ROS.
  • Experience with white box testing.
  • Familiarity with networking, operating-systems, radio communications.
  • Experience designing automated testing tooling for GUI and server applications.
