Staff Full-Stack Engineer, Growth
Staff Full-Stack Engineer leads high-impact, data-driven experiments to optimize product growth across acquisition, onboarding, and expansion for millions of users. Requires 8+ years full-stack experience with Django, React/Next.js/TypeScript, and expertise in rapid experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Own critical experiments end-to-end: ideation and hypothesis, scoping with Product and Design, building and shipping, measuring impact, and scaling winners with iterative improvements.
- Partner with analytical and product-minded team to brainstorm, plan, build, ship, and analyze rapid improvements across acquisition, onboarding, expansion, pricing, and usage journeys.
- Ship multiple experiments each week and iterate quickly based on data.
- Work cross-functionally with every team to turn insights into shipped product fast.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally across both frontend and backend (startup experience preferred).
- Thrive in the Build–Measure–Learn loop: designing, running, and analyzing experiments at high velocity.
- Enjoy diving into data to make hypotheses and inform product decisions.
- User-obsessed: empathetic, curious, and motivated to solve real problems.
- Comfortable working with tech stack: Django, React (Next.js/TypeScript), Mixpanel, Cursor.
Nice-to-Haves
- 3+ years of experience working on a product growth team.
- Experience building lead generation pipelines.
- Experience working in Martech.
Compensation
- $235,000 - $255,000 + equity + benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, home office stipend, commuter benefits, daily lunch for SF-based employees).
