About the role

Responsibilities

  • Circuit and sub-system design for V-BAT and support equipment, including power management, analog, digital, servos, microcontrollers, sensors, radios.
  • Lead avionic systems troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Support design and integration of complex power systems, embedded systems, and sensors for aircraft autonomy and AI.
  • Lead and mentor teammates on projects.
  • Own circuit part selection, schematic capture, simulation, analysis, verification, debugging, and release to production.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, embedded, software, manufacturing, supply chain).
  • Collaborate with Firmware to integrate logic designs into build/release cycle.
  • Provide feedback to other teams.
  • Develop PCBA and avionics system qualification test and automated test solutions.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements in hardware development for efficiency, quality, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years industry experience as Electrical Engineer.
  • Strong technical fundamentals.
  • Contributed to and led multiple product design cycles involving EE, ME, and SW engineering.
  • Track record of extreme ownership, delivering outstanding outcomes, and shipping products in fast-paced environments.
