Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack
Grow Therapy is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, implement, and ship customer-facing features across the stack. This role involves owning the full development lifecycle, contributing to core platform systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, implement, and ship customer-facing features that span frontend and backend systems
- Own the full lifecycle of your work - from scoping and implementation through testing, deployment, and iteration
- Contribute to and improve core platform systems, including those related to discovery, scheduling, transactions, and user experience
- Implement and support A/B tests and experiments, from hypothesis through measurement and rollout
- Investigate, triage, and resolve production incidents and complex cross-system bugs
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable production code and take an active role in code reviews
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Data to deliver well-scoped, measurable solutions
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions within your team
You'll Be a Good Fit If You Have
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience building and maintaining production systems at scale
- Comfortable working across backend APIs and frontend interfaces, with hands-on experience in Python and modern React/TypeScript
- Experience working on systems where data quality, correctness, and performance matter
- Strong execution skills and the ability to deliver scoped work independently
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn complex systems and new problem domains
- A product-minded approach - you understand how technical decisions impact user experience and business outcomes
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working closely with cross-functional partners including Product, Design, and Data Science
- Experience using AI-assisted dev tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor)
- A bias toward ownership, speed, learning, and continuous improvement
Role Details
Employment Type: Full Time, Exempt Base Compensation: The base compensation range for this position is $182,000–$250,000 USD Annually.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work onsite from our NYC, San Francisco, or Seattle hub location three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and travel 2–3 times per year (e.g., company and department offsites).
