Senior Software Engineer - Customer Integrations

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain highly scalable backend services and APIs that power developer-facing platform capabilities
• Develop secure, well-documented, versioned APIs with a strong emphasis on developer experience, consistency and usability
• Lead projects from planning to delivery independently
• Partner with Product leaders on ideation and implementation
• Collaborate across multiple tech teams to design and deliver impactful features
• Advocate for team needs and get involved with strategic decisions

Requirements

• Professional experience working within software engineering teams
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• 3+ years of building backend services with common systems languages (Go, Java, Python, C#); must be open to learning and using Go
• Track record of success in terms of ability to execute projects
• Deep understanding of API concepts and designs
• Advanced understanding of SQL, experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Familiarity with modern web infrastructure components (e.g. caching, serverless, API gateways, etc) and how to manage them
• Understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms, and experience creating and evaluating technical design documents
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI and managing infrastructure assets using IaC tooling such as Terraform

Nice to Have

• Have worked in a fast-paced, regulated, client-facing environment
• Experience designing and building public APIs and developer platforms
