Senior Product Manager - Prepaid Cards
Own end-to-end prepaid cards product, including issuance, fraud prevention, lifecycle management, and new launches. Collaborate with banks, card networks, and internal teams in an async remote environment; requires 6+ years experience with strong technical fluency and product intuition.
Responsibilities
- Own prepaid cards end-to-end, including US program for digital and physical cards, cardholder journey (issuance at scale, fraud prevention, lifecycle management), and launching new programs/product offerings.
- Work across technical systems and partners (banks, Visa, Mastercard, processors, Apple Pay, Google Pay) and internal stakeholders including senior leaders.
- Manage product roadmap with stakeholders.
- Frame up problems and explain what problems are being solved and why.
- Conduct research and analysis (user interviews, market research, competitive analysis).
- Work with designers and engineers to devise solutions.
- Collaborate asynchronously without meetings.
- Persuade with a light touch on priorities.
- Report on impact post-shipment.
Requirements
- 6+ years building and shipping web applications as designer, engineer, or product manager at tech companies.
- 2+ years as PM in startup environments (ideally growth-stage).
- Experience with card products (prepaid, debit, credit, or similar).
- Strong product intuition.
- Strong design judgment and technical fluency.
- Ability to translate long-term strategy and feature backlog into roadmaps.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable making decisions without perfect information.
- Genuine empathy for users and teammates.
Compensation
Base salary: $225,000 - $300,000.
