Senior Product Manager, Merchant Onboarding
Own merchant onboarding, configuration, and migration products plus internal tooling for Solutions, Implementation, CS, and Support teams. Drive self-serve workflows and reduce time-to-value.
What You’ll Work On
- Own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for merchant onboarding, configuration, and migration — the full journey from signed deal to live on Tabs
- Build for internal users as true customers: partner with Solutions, Implementation, Customer Success, and Support to understand their workflows and ship tools that multiply their effectiveness
- Drive the shift from hands-on to self-serve: identify which workflows can move from internal teams to merchants themselves, and build the configuration surfaces to make that safe and intuitive
- Own migrations from legacy billing systems — design repeatable, scalable paths for merchants moving onto Tabs with years of historical data
- Shape the internal tooling layer as Tabs scales: bulk operations, environment management, and the leverage points that keep operational effort flat while merchant count grows
- Define success metrics around time-to-value, onboarding effort, and self-service adoption, and iterate based on outcomes and feedback from internal teams and merchants
- Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous, operationally complex problem spaces
About You
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, fintech, or platform/internal tools roles
- Experience owning onboarding, activation, configuration, or internal tooling — products measured by time-to-value and operational leverage
- You treat internal teams as first-class users: you've built for ops, support, or implementation teams before, or have strong instincts for it
- Comfortable in the messy middle of operations and product — you can sit with an implementation team for a day, find the bottleneck, and turn it into a roadmap
- Exceptional cross-functional operator — you can align and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders across a product with deep upstream and downstream dependencies
- Thrives in fast-moving, high-growth environments where priorities evolve quickly
