Senior Manager, Events & Field Marketing
Own North America events and field marketing strategy, leading program execution, sales partnerships, and regional team oversight to drive pipeline and revenue. Requires 10+ years in B2B SaaS field marketing and 4+ years people management.
What You’ll Do
Event Strategy Leadership: Own the North America events and field marketing strategy, including annual planning, quarterly priorities, target audiences, budget allocation, and success metrics.
Program Development & Execution: Lead the planning and execution of North America event programs, including industry conferences, trade shows, executive dinners/experiences, workshops, partner events, etc.
Sales Partnership: Partner directly with North America sales leadership across new logo, growth, and commercial segments to develop programs that generate pipeline, accelerate opportunities, and drive revenue outcomes.
Campaign Integration: Build integrated event plans in partnership with Demand Generation and Sales teams, including pre-event engagement and post-event follow-up strategies.
Budget & Investment Management: Manage the North America events budget, forecasting, vendor negotiations, contract management, and program ROI.
Regional Team Leadership: Provide leadership and oversight for Field Marketing Managers in EMEA and APJ, ensuring alignment to global objectives while allowing flexibility for regional market needs.
Global Program Alignment: Establish and maintain global field marketing frameworks, planning processes, reporting standards, and best practices across regions.
Performance Management: Conduct regular business reviews with regional field marketers to evaluate performance, share learnings, and optimize investments.
Vendor Management: Lead vendor relationships, including sourcing, statement-of-work development, negotiations, and performance management.
Operational Excellence: Develop scalable playbooks, processes, and operational frameworks that improve execution quality and consistency globally.
Analytics & Measurement: Define and track event KPIs, including attendance, engagement, pipeline generation, opportunity acceleration, influenced revenue, and overall program ROI.
Executive Communication: Present program performance, strategic recommendations, and investment plans to executive stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of experience in field marketing, events marketing, or integrated marketing within B2B SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, developer tools, or enterprise technology organizations.
- 4+ years of people management experience, including leading distributed teams or managing regional marketers.
- Proven success building and executing field marketing strategies that drive measurable pipeline and revenue outcomes.
- Deep experience managing conferences, trade shows, executive events, customer events, and field programs from strategy through execution.
- Strong understanding of sales-led marketing motions, including account-based marketing and pipeline development.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, budgets, and timelines simultaneously.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across sales, marketing, partnerships, developer relations, and executive teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience measuring program effectiveness and making data-driven investment decisions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, event technology platforms, and marketing reporting tools is preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with changing priorities and ambitious goals.

Compensation
The estimated pay range for this role is $156,000 - $195,000 depending on experience and location. This role is eligible to participate in Temporal's equity plan.
Compensation ranges reflect salary and commission compensation (when applicable) across several geographic markets. Employment offers carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, knowledge, expertise, skillset, market location, and job level assessed during the interview process.
