Senior Documentation Engineer
Creates and maintains high-quality technical documentation for ClickHouse database features, partnering with engineering teams and engaging GitHub community. Requires experience with databases/SQL and strong writing skills; scripting/web tech a plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering and product teams to convey ClickHouse’s features clearly, concisely, and comprehensively for developers with diverse experience levels.
- Write documentation and guides for new features launched by engineering and product teams.
- Proactively engage with the GitHub community to address and resolve documentation issues, including responding to enhancement requests, adding clarity, rectifying errata, and incorporating improvements.
- Foster continuous improvement by refining team processes and style guides, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency.
- Create scripts and automation to keep documentation up-to-date.
Requirements
- Previous demonstrated skills such as published technical content, documentation, or blog posts for infrastructure or developer tools products.
- Extensive experience working with databases, data warehouses, and SQL.
- Passion for great developer experiences and products.
- Strong English language writing skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product teams, and other technical writers or contractors.
Nice-to-Haves
- Basic scripting skills (JavaScript, Python).
- Basic knowledge of modern full-stack web development technologies (React, Node.js, CSS).
- Computer science or engineering degree (or related field).
Technical Learning Manager
Own strategy and execution of technical learning programs for Lyft's Engineering, Science, Product, and Design organizations. Design, scale, and manage continuing education, documentation, compliance, and AI upskilling initiatives for technical audiences.
Technical Writer
Create and maintain training materials, SOPs, and documentation for robotics and physical AI operations. Translate complex technical systems into clear guides for operators and engineers while ensuring consistency across regions.
Enablement Content Developer - Multimedia & AI Production
Produce and edit technical product videos, AI-generated content, and graphics for cloud security enablement. Requires 2+ years multimedia production experience plus 3+ years cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and Kubernetes expertise.
