About the role
Responsibilities
- Apply LLM technologies throughout the stack to enhance Semgrep’s security vulnerability detection, prioritization, and remediation capabilities.
- Work directly with customers to understand their pain points.
- Own the end-to-end implementation of AI-powered solutions.
- Rigorously evaluate the efficacy of different prompts and models through experimentation with real-world data.
- Prototype and ship quickly, working on a little bit of everything throughout the stack.
Requirements
- Comfortable working with significant ambiguity.
- Professional experience with LLMs including GPT-4/GPT-5, Codex, and Claude (preferred but not required; open to learning quickly).
- Experience with Typescript and React (Frontend), Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy (Backend), Kubernetes, AWS (preferred but not required).
Compensation
- Estimated starting annual salary range: $163,000 to $246,500 USD.
- Total compensation may include equity, variable compensation, and benefits.
