About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy for SpotOn restaurant software suite
  • Own and manage the product roadmap with data-informed trade-offs
  • Shape information architecture, interaction patterns, personalization, and monetization surfaces for the Merchant Dashboard
  • Partner with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Data Science, Ops, and GTM teams
  • Analyze market trends, customer feedback, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies
  • Lead experimentation, learning, and iteration cycles
  • Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and act as product advocate and voice of the customer
  • Collaborate on product positioning with product marketing

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant product management experience, preferably with restaurant or hospitality software
  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycle and ability to deliver intuitive, high-quality products that scale
  • Technically fluent: engage with engineers, understand APIs and systems architecture, discuss implementation trade-offs
  • Metrics-driven work style leveraging data for decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills to articulate product vision and tradeoffs
  • Ability to empathize with customers and understand their interactions with products
  • Ability to make decisions with imperfect information and manage ambiguity

  • Hands-on restaurant or hospitality experience (working in a restaurant, bar, or cafe)
