Supports People Operations by coordinating onboarding, payroll, benefits, and HRIS maintenance while handling employee inquiries in a fast-scaling startup. Requires startup HR admin experience, HRIS proficiency, and proactive process skills.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations of People Ops function
- Coordinate onboarding
- Support payroll and benefits administration
- Maintain HRIS records
- Contribute to employee experience and lifecycle
- Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries
- Work closely with People Operations Manager
Requirements
- Prior experience supporting People Operations team in a startup environment
- Proactive and process-driven
- Thrive in team environment, juggle multiple tasks, organized, detail-oriented, adaptable
- Communicate with clarity and empathy
- Experience with at least one HRIS (administrative tasks)
- Working knowledge of timecard administration, including state-specific meal and rest break compliance
- Comfortable using AI tools thoughtfully
Compensation
- Competitive hourly rate ($27 - $33 per hour)
