Member of Technical Staff (Frontend)

Responsibilities

• Building and owning the frontend experiences that clinicians and customers interact with daily — React and HTMX
• Working across the stack — from frontend through to backend services — to ship complete solutions
• Working directly with customers to understand real-world healthcare workflows, scope integrations, and translate requirements into product specs
• Designing and building backend services, APIs, and data pipelines that power our AI platform
• Writing evals to identify weaknesses and drive improvements in our LLM-powered systems
• Building internal tooling to automate workflows and increase team leverage
• Analyzing request logs, debugging event streams, and improving system reliability
• Contributing to Anterior's SDKs, developer documentation, and platform architecture

Requirements

• Passion for doing things The Right Way, Less is More, focus on system design fundamentals (pacelc, consistency guarantees)
• Strength in frontend: built complex, performant UIs (state management, performance, accessibility)
• Comfortable working across the stack in a backend-heavy environment
• A few years of strong experience, shipped real features in production codebases
• Experience with product-focused engineering, owning UI/UX end-to-end
