IT Security and Automation Engineer
Build IT workflow automation and security tooling using Go, Temporal, and Kubernetes while supporting internal infrastructure and integrations. Requires Go programming, Linux/K8s experience, Terraform, and IT security background.
Responsibilities
- Build next generation IT workflow automation tooling using Temporal and Go running on Kubernetes
- Collaborate with engineering team on dogfooding Teleport Identity and Teleport Policy
- Build hardened security & automation for macOS endpoints
- Write IT automation using Terraform, shell scripts, and Go
- Write integrations with Panther, Jamf Pro, Okta, Rippling, Google Chrome Enterprise
- Perform traditional IT helpdesk tasks: access setup, lockouts, integrations, and configuration
Requirements
- Programming experience in Go (Temporal experience is a bonus)
- Linux systems engineering experience
- Kubernetes experience
- IaC (Terraform) and shell scripting experience
- IT security & administration experience
- Willingness to work across traditional IT tasks including Okta, Rippling, Zendesk, and internal customer support
Nice to Have
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and platforms such as AWS Redshift, Fivetran, and DBT
