Full Stack Engineer - ETF Focus
Builds end-to-end internal tools and public web apps for ETF operations, compliance, filings, data pipelines, and investor analytics. Requires Python, TypeScript, SQL, AWS, strong product instincts, and comfort with regulated financial workflows.
Responsibilities
- Build internal products and public-facing web surfaces for ETF operations including filing automation, disclosure QA, compliance workflows, data pipelines, vendor integrations, automated fund presence, public web surfaces, investor analytics, and UI design.
- Generate SEC EDGAR-ready outputs with Inline XBRL tagging/validation.
- Codify policies into systems with controls, approvals, escalation paths, evidence capture, audit logs, and review queues.
- Ingest and reconcile vendor data via SFTP/APIs, build monitoring/retry tooling.
- Develop interactive investor tools: performance calculators, comparison tools, exposure breakdowns.
- Implement security measures: WAFs, secure headers, access controls, operational monitoring.
Requirements
- Interest in financial markets, especially ETFs.
- End-to-end ownership from backend to UI and deployment.
- Familiarity with SEC EDGAR workflows and Inline XBRL (or quick ramp-up).
- Experience building dashboards, charting, reporting UIs, analytics products.
- Production experience on major cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Comfortable in regulated environments with auditability.
- Write maintainable, correct code quickly.
- Strong UI judgment for clean, fast interfaces.
Nice to Haves
- Fintech, markets, accounting, or compliance experience.
- Experience with LLM-assisted tooling.
- Familiarity with ETFs/fund ops/reporting.
- iXBRL tagging/validation and SEC filing workflows.
- Quantitative trading or systematic investing experience.
